Ancestral wisdoms and ecoliteracy through the arts

Abstract

This article proposes the visibility of ancestral knowledge of our native cultures, through research/creation, as a new strategy for Ecoliteracy in education. This, in the current context of diversity and interculturality, in which the different social groups in Latin America develop, and in the face of global environmental crisis, which makes a necessity, to nurture the teaching-learning process, of the sacred relationship that the original communities establish with nature, which has allowed them a sustainable dialogue with it, for centuries.
