This article presents students’ intransigence to the link between the school (of a religious nature) and the family. I understand that the schooling process becomes the materialization of a curriculum influenced by the
school’s project, the support of the parents, and the role that teachers play in its applicability. I believe that these aspects establish the conditions for the emergence of a critical attitude of students which leads them to question what is taught and advance a new horizon of understanding about gender connotations–an attitude that becomes a subversive and performative vision in their space of schooled coexistence.
