This work focuses on the arguments staded by representatives of organizations linked to the radical right in the Chilean parliamentary
hearing procedures carried out between November 2019 and January 2020, due to discussion on parity in the constituent process and the
project of Law on Comprehensive Sexual Education (ESI). The analysis focused on the discourse about the defense of the conventional
family and the traditional order of genders, and shows how these organizations, ideologically conservative, resort to tradition and individual freedoms to oppose social transformations and the deepening of democracy.
