The regional political scene, as well as the global one, is stressed by the emergence of fascist governments –or right-wing populisms– that have risen to power democratically in recent years. At the same time, feminism has positioned itself as an increasingly influential movement. However, this fascist advance raises concerns about the restriction of our rights and freedoms. The feminist movement challenge is thus threefold: 1) the democratic rise of right-wing fascisms following progressive governments in the region and, with it, the questioning of the political ways of recent times; 2) the possible backlash, questioning and impending restriction of feminist conquests in post-fascist and fundamentalist scenarios through a policy of violence; and 3) the construction of a feminist proposal as a project of containment and progress against fascism, as a radical, left-wing and transformative agenda.
