Abstract

The management process within educational institutions is consolidated as an important link in the construction of added value on educational processes, which is why a bibliographic review is carried out that aims to understand the exercise of management within Latin American higher educational institutions, from the perspective of university social responsibility. University social responsibility is the central axis from which the process of educational management is integrated, as a tool that enables the joint articulation of actions focused on social transformation from the perspectives of the evaluation model of Responsible University Social Innovation (ISUR), which include: a) the perspective of training and academic quality, b) the perspective of management and institutional transformation, c) the perspective of research, development and innovation, d) the perspective of social relationship with the environment, e) the perspective environmental and sustainability, and f) the international perspective and cultural exchange. Finally, the conclusions that allow us to understand the dynamics of USR in Latin America from the educational direction are presented.
