The cultural construction of the feminine identity: women artist in the period between the wars.
Abstract
In the present work I analyze how the subject matter of the body was
represented by some women artists of the first years of the 20th century, which
will allow to consider how you work some is anticipated with regard to what
will be the representation of the body in the works of the artists of the sixties
to nineties of the 20th century. Many of the images created by the artists who
explore the cultural construction of the feminine identity, or his impossibility,
influenced consciously by the feminism, take the body as a main reference.
